College Football World Is Very Surprised By Bryce Young's Sugar Bowl Decision

There's skipping your school's final game of the year. Then there's Alabama.
Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr. are expected to play in Alabama's game against Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl. The news is a surprise amid a rush of players opting out of their school's bowl game to prepare for the NFL Draft. It has Tide fans torn.
While there's potential for injury and hurt draft stock, people are generally pleased with the culture at Alabama that has influenced two first-round picks to defy the norm.

Some Twitter users are commenting that Young and Anderson shouldn't play and that a future injury from the game is a lock. Others are saying there is no benefit in participating.
Anderson is the second-best prospect on Mel Kiper Jr.'s top-25 list of players entering the draft. Young is fourth overall.
In an early preview, Todd McShay has Young going first overall in the draft to the Houston Texans. The past Heisman winner threw for 3,007 yards, 27 touchdowns and five interceptions this season.
McShay anticipates Anderson to get off the board quick as well, at the No. 3 overall pick to the Chicago Bears. The 6'4", 243-pounder made 50 total tackles this season. He also made 10 sacks and scored one touchdown.
Everyone on the Alabama roster is expected to go bowling.
